The rafting excursions in Rishikesh take place throughout the year except for the monsoon season, but the most favored months are February to May and October to December.

The government of India tourist officers, IRRA, and IAPRO are three bodies that oversee the white rafting operations in India. All river rafting expeditions are in occurrence with the safety standards, rescue procedures, and general river and camp ethics as per international stranders.
