When to visit Tamil Nadu
The best time to visit Tamil Nadu is December to February. March, July to November are also good. Try to avoid April to June (very hot in the plains). The northeast monsoon brings heavy rain to the coast from October to December. Hill stations such as Ooty and Kodaikanal are best from March to June.
