When to go
When to visit Sikkim
The best time to visit Sikkim is March to May, October to December. January to February (cold, with snow at altitude) are also good. Try to avoid June to September (monsoon landslides). Permits are needed for North Sikkim, Tsomgo Lake and Nathula. Rhododendrons bloom in April and May.
